Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that reducing pressure on Russia will not halt the war but will instead signal to Russian President Vladimir Putin that his actions are supported. Zelensky expressed hope that the U.S. President would take action to stop killings, strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, and the war.

Zelensky also announced that Ukraine conducted a test within EU countries which indicated that Starlink restrictions against Ukraine were a planned operation. He noted that current interceptors for 'shahed' drones, operating with Starlink, are not functioning due to speed limitations of 161 km/h.
