Zelenskyy: Russia shows no signs of ending war, strikes hit Kharkiv, Rivne
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia has shown no signs of ending its war, with its signals indicating the opposite. He reported that following overnight Russian strikes on energy infrastructure, a strike on Kharkiv killed two people and wounded seventeen. Russian strikes also hit a shopping center in Rivne and energy facilities in four regions.
Zelenskyy thanked Charles Michel and Ursula von der Leyen, and the EU, for their support. The discussion included ongoing assistance, with a focus on Ukraine's energy sector and air defense requirements, as well as financial stability for the next year. Progress on EU integration was also a key topic, with efforts to open additional negotiation clusters by the end of the year.
